Let´s dance ....

Yesterday night we had a delicios dinner at "The old fashioned" with some friends ... we also tried the famous Old Fashioned cocktail and some beers :o)
After the dinner, we went to a Ska concert. It was a funny evening and I think we should repeat this.

4th weekend - Sunday ...

Today we had fantastic weather ... sunshine and warm temperatures ... so I decided to make a biking tour ...

4th weekend - Saturday

We got up quite early in the morning to catch the Badger bus to visit the Winter Pow Wow in Milwaukee. It was my 3rd Pow Wow and it is still really nice to see all the wonderful fancy dresses and to hear the drums and singers.
Back in Madison, Thing, her boyfriend and Shiya invited us to a Chinese restaurant where we had a super delicious dinner. by the way: Hardi tried a dish with frog legs and he said that it was really good.
After the dinner we played Pictionary, again. :o) But this time we decided that the members of the loser team will get a special "punishment" (see pictures) ;o)

the boys won the first Pictionary round and as punishment for the girls team they mixed a special drink (vinegar, grapefruit juice, pumpkin pie spice and Marsala cooking wine)

My 3rd weekend in Madison ...

Friday night: We watched "Pioneers of Animation" at the Cinematheque. It was a nice collection of cartoons (e.g. Felix the Cat, Koko the Clown) with live accompaniment.
Saturday morning: Brandon picked us up for a visit of the Arboretum. It was the Aldo Leopold weekend and they arranged a reading from his book " A Sand County Almanac". 
Saturday evening: Brandon and Margaret came over for dinner. We prepared mustard eggs with potoes, white cabbage salad and cranberry desert. After the dinner we played some games: Cheat (a card game) and Pictionary. It was a really funny and nice evening. :o)
Sunday afternoon: We went to the West Town Mall. We had a nice shopping tour and purchaded a lot of clothes. ;o)

Wednesday night

Yesterday night we had dinner at the "Rathskeller" restaurant in the Memorial Union ... they served "German potato salad" as side dish ... hmpf ... don´t know where they get the recipe ... but I think it was not really a German recipe :o)
Anyway, after the dinner we went to the High Noon Saloon to see the Memoryhouse concert. It was really good.
